Adult Day Care |
This page provides information about community based facilities designed to
meet the needs of older adults during normal daytime hours, Monday through
Friday, with the seniors returning home in the evening.
These facilities serve older adults who require an environment that provides
supervision, increased social opportunities, and administration of medications
and assistance with their activities of daily living. Comprehensive programs
offered at these facilities include a variety of health, social and related
support services in a protective setting conducive to building (or rebuilding)
the older adult's confidence and self-esteem.

The S.A.R.A.H. Center is a medical model that attends to the participant's need
for socialization as well as providing a wide range of professional services
that help to enhance the health of the Senior including assistance with the
activities of daily living. Additionally, information gathered during the
intake and assessment process will be used to develop a 'Plan of Care' that
will be monitored to assist the Senior in maintaining (or regaining) their
self-esteem and confidence.
